AUDIT PROTECTION

The IRS has recently announced an increase in audits. Tax audits and correspondence with all taxing authorities have become an expensive inconvenience.

Instead, you can buy Audit Protection (15% of your tax preparation fee, with a $50 minimum fee) to avoid the extra cost for representing you regarding your tax returns, including any notice responses.

We will meet with the taxing authorities, present your case and negotiate a settlement on your behalf. This fee covers all the costs (up to 20 hours of professional time) prior to the Appeals level, including any correspondence necessary with the various taxing authorities.

The fee must be paid within 60 days of receipt of your tax returns from Kurt Filipovitch & Co.
